Christian Aid week volunteers sought in Norfolk

Christian Aid WeekCF
People interested in volunteering during Christian Aid Week in May can attend an event on April 16 to receive information and resources relating to this year's appeal which focuses on Bangladesh.

Christian Aid works with many communities across the world living in poverty to meet immediate needs but also helping to provide longer term solutions.

Their biggest fundraising initiative takes place in May when they organise street collections, fundraising breakfasts, door to door collecting, coffee mornings, soup lunches and so much more! Christian Aid Week is between May 15th to 21st but money can be raised during May at any time to make a difference (except for door to door collections).

If you would like to make a difference to people living in poverty then please do volunteer to help us. Many people do make a difference and with your help we can make a bigger difference to people living in poverty.

If you have a spare hour to help collect  money or if you want to organise something like a breakfast with your church, house group or  a group of friends please contact Julian Bryant on or 01603 620051.

An information session with a soup lunch will be held this Saturday April 16 at the Weston Room (which is in the entrance hall), Norwich Cathedral from 12:30 – 2pm. Videos will be shown at this event as well as information about this year’s appeal. A stock of resources will be available, including balloons, collecting tins, information packs and a lot more. If this is the first time you have considered helping out in this way or you have volunteered with us for many years please feel free to come.

Here is Guvna B encouraging people to make a fundraising breakfast for Christian Aid.
