Norwich Quakers to host planet-friendly summer fair

On June 8 the Norwich Quakers are hosting an Earth Care Fair with organisations and activities that will highlight how to care for the planet and achieve a more sustainable future.

From 11am-2pm on Saturday, June 8 the Norwich Quakers offer an open invitation to drop into their Earth Care Fair at the Friends Meeting House on Upper Goat Lane.
The Earth Care Fair will feature the environmental and peace organisations, Extinction Rebellion, Amnesty International, CND and others sharing what motivates them to work towards a better world.
Ann Ray from Norwich Quakers said: “Please join us for this informal drop-in event and use the opportunity to learn more about what each of us can do to look after our beautiful earth to secure a safer future to come. It's free to attend and a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, who care about our planet and want to see a more sustainable future.”

There will be children’s activities, lots of odds and ends for reusing, repurposing and reviving, and stalls selling Traidcraft, books, cards, plants, jams and handcrafted gifts. There will also be vegetarian, vegan and gluten free lunches available.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
