Marketing and Fundraising Co-ordinator

Corton House Ltd are looking for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic individual to fill a newly created role. This exciting role will see the successful applicant working with Senior Management to develop and implement new marketing and fundraising strategies to further develop and grow the organisation.
 



Corton House Residential Care Home - Norwich
£25,000 - £30,000 a year


The role will cover both Corton House Care Home and Brakendon Close Independent Living sites and operations. The role will report directly into Senior Management.

As a new role, the position represents a significant opportunity for the successful applicant to truly make it their own.

Key responsibilities will include to:

  • Develop Marketing and Fundraising plans for the organisation
  • Maintain our website and social media pages ensuring SEO
  • Create, maintain, and monitor Google Ads and Social Ads campaigns
  • Support the organisation to prepare and produce internal and external communications
  • Develop, maintain, and report on Key Performance Indicators
  • Establish and develop relationships with other local groups, press, charities, faith communities and organisations
  • Increase, support, and generate fundraising and grant income
  • Organise and co-ordinate community fundraising events of varying scale
  • Co-ordinate day to day fundraising activities
  • Establish new, and develop existing, volunteer connections
  • Regularly review grant/trust bidding opportunities, building comprehensive and high standard applications
  • Assist to develop and coordinate community outreach projects, in line with grant opportunities


The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (grade C or above) including English and Mathematics
  • Desirably be educated to A level/degree standard and ideally hold Fundraising and Marketing qualifications
  • Significant fundraising and marketing experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to work to their own initiative and be self-motivated
  • A can-do attitude with tenacity, resilience and the ability to preserve
  • Experience of researching, applying for, controlling, monitoring and reporting on Grants
  • Experience of project and event management
  • Digital awareness, including Social Media, Websites and Google Analytics
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A high level of literacy and attention to detail


The role will be primarily based at Corton House Care Home, central to Norwich City Centre with onsite parking. Some travel may be necessary, and the successful candidate will ideally be a full UK driving licence holder.

Although preferably a permanent full-time role, we may consider part-time or fixed contract applicants.
