Welcome to Corton House, a 42 bedded care home with a mission to provide excellent loving care and support for older people. We are a not-for-profit organisation that has been operating for over 60 years, with a Christian ethos and a charitable status.

Corton House is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Homes and Communities Agency and is a member of the National Housing Federation. Registration is via the Industrial & Provident Societies Act 1965 [Charitable Model] No. 13969R.

We are looking for a day care assistant to work a mixture of evenings and day shifts, shift patterns are AM: 07.00-16.00 PM: 16.00-21.00, this includes weekend working on a rota basis.

Experience in care is not necessary as full training will be provided.

We are looking for caring individuals who are passionate about giving excellent care to our residents.

The role for care assistant for days is worked on a 3 week rota including days, evenings and weekends.

Part-time hours: 25-30 per week (other roles available)

As per the amended the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, from 11 November 2021, all care home workers and other visiting professionals will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they have a medical exemption.
