Kids put faith into action on Norwich streets

Reality2GardenWebScores of Christian youngsters are taking part in a week of social and community action across Norwich as part of Reality II all this week. We have pictures and a video of the event.
The week from July 23 -27 is being co-ordinated by Norwich Youth for Christ and every morning from 10am to 12 noon participants are getting together at Norwich Central Baptist Church to worship God and get great teaching from some fantastic speakers.
Grantley Watkins, James East and Toby Skipper are all lined up to join in and there are also familiar faces from NYFC and worship will be led by the Reality Band.
Reality2GamesWebEach afternoon teams have been heading out to projects in the Action Areas: Wymondham, Mousehold, Mile Cross, Heartsease and Lakenham.  The projects this year include holiday clubs, clean-up crews, dance workshops, DJ skills, gardening teams and more.
Orgainser and NYFC director Mark Tuma, said: “Just like last year we've kept the evenings light so you have some energy left for the rest of the summer!
"The two evening events this year are on Thursday and Friday. Thursday will be a treat for all hard-working delegates, with an evening combining a couple of great local bands, worship and prayer, as well as free food!

"On Friday we're holding the community barbecues in each Action Area, and this year one of them has even booked donkey rides!”
