Celebrate King's Lynn launches video and web

Celebrate King’s Lynn has launched its first-ever festival event, set to take place on June 11, with a new website and YouTube video.

The website will carry latest news and details about the Christian festival which aims to showcase the work of King’s Lynn churches at a flagship event at The Walks in the town on Saturday June 11 from 10am.
The new video describes what the festival will offer and carries messages from some of the organising team.
Co-ordinator, Alison Hill, said: “This event aims to bless the people of King’s Lynn, as well as giving churches the opportunity to showcase their projects and ministries; including Alpha, Christians Against Poverty, Foodbank and Messy Church.
“We will be providing the people of King’s Lynn with a full day of activities, ranging from fete type stalls, youth and children’s work, bouncy castle, centre stage with entertainment and much more.”
David Blacklock is a retired Methodist minister who has experienced this type of event in previous years. He said: “We want to give people a real idea of how much fun it can be to be part of the church and what we do together as a community. Come and enjoy yourself, everything will be free. We want to bless the people of King’s Lynn. It’s will be a real blessing of a time as everyone comes together to enjoy this celebration day.”
Olivia O’Neil is part of the Celebrate team and is working with Kevin Baldwin from Counties-Key to Life Experience, to provide youth and children's work on the day. Olivia has been involved in the organisation of a festival style event in London in previous years."I cannot wait to get all of you on board, we've got puppet shows, marquees, roll the dice....lots of different activities for all the family, so come on board."
