Norfolk School of Prophets prepares for a new season
Alaric and Jane Hunt travel the world teaching and equipping churches in prophetic ministry. On Saturday, June 15 they will be in Norwich to talk about ‘Transitions and Transformations: how spiritual warriors reinvent themselves for the new season.”
On Saturday, June 15, 9.45am-4pm, the Norfolk School of Prophets will welcome Alaric and Jane Hunt to their monthly event at New Hope Christian Centre.
Alaric and Jane Hunt are the founders of First Love Global Ministries, an NGO that equips local people in Kingdom business; funding projects to help churches and communities escape poverty and to carry the good news of Jesus.
Formerly mentored by the prophetic teacher Graham Cooke, Alaric is a prophet and teacher who travels the world to share his passion of equipping people in their identity and destiny.
Jane is called to intercession, healing and prophetic evangelism, and has recently been working with Alaric in a churches together initiative pioneering street outreach, especially healing on the streets.
Speaking about the event Alaric said: “Just before Christmas last year I had a prophetic encounter, as I was watching a sunset in my home town of Bournemouth. I heard God say, ‘The sun is setting on the Church as we know it. A new wineskin is emerging all over the world, and if you miss it, you miss My plan.’
“I believe that we are living in times of glorious unsettlement, and our lives are a mirror of the transition being prepared by God for a major awakening of His Kingdom. Perhaps you too are feeling this unsettlement. All the things you thought you knew, the gifting that you have operated in, the moves of God that you have seen in the past - things are different now, and some of those old things aren't working in the way that they used to.
“This doesn't mean that you are doing something wrong. It just means that the times are changing, and something new is stirring in the spiritual realms. I want to share with you some of the pitfalls you might encounter, and some keys to partner with God in the process of developing as a spiritual warrior.
"How do we reinvent ourselves for the new awakening? This will apply to both our personal journeys and also our corporate journey in the Body of Christ as a whole.”
During the day there will be time for worship, teaching, practical activation and prayer.
The cost is £10 per person plus a love gift for the workers. Drinks and biscuits are provided but please bring your lunch.
