Burn Norwich worship nights are back
Non-stop worship movement Burn has been continuing online throughout lockdown. Local group Burn Norwich are meeting in-person on October 2 in Norwich.
Burn involves uninterrupted worship, prayer and adoration. Worship leaders usually take an extended slot where they praise God and people present join them in freedom - there are no projected words, times to sit or a sermon - it is a joyful way to worship God in song, silence, movement or stillness. During lockdown, many 'Burn' groups from around the country streamed worship nights on facebook and youtube.
Debs Goldstone who organises Burn Norwich said, "After online streaming extended worship for the last 18 months, we are really looking forward to worshipping together in person again and welcoming anyone who would like to join us."
Burn Norwich is planning to start doing worship outreach and street evangelism as they gain momentum over the next few months. Debs said, "Norfolk needs Jesus more now than ever before."
Burn Norwich is happening on Saturday 2nd October 4pm-10pm at St Mary’s Church Hall, NR5 8LB.
