How does it work?Step 1 edit

STEP 1

Non-perishable food is donated by local people.

Step 2 edit

Volunteers sort and pack the food into nutritionally balanced emergency foodboxes.

Step 3 edit

We partner with front-line care professionals who identify people in crisis and give them a foodbank voucher.

Step 4 edit

STEP 4

On taking their voucher to the foodbank centre, people receive a warm welcome, a hot drink and a foodbox with 3 days of food.

Step 5 edit

STEP 5

We take time to listen and signpost clients to further support

Norwich Foodbank also donates food in bulk to other local charities and agencies working with distressed and destitute people.
