West Norfolk church celebrates fenland art
The first of the 426 paintings that will be on display at a West Norfolk church has arrived and excitement is building as organisers expect to welcome at least 1,000 visitors to the exhibition.
The Celebration of Art exhibition at St Botolph's Church, Grimston begins on Tuesday May 24th until May 30th. The new Mayor of King's Lynn, Cllr Colin Sampson, is coming to open the exhibition at the Artists' Preview Evening on May 23rd.
The 173 artists come from across the region from as far afield as Cromer, Norwich, Diss, Sleaford, Hunstanton and Littleport.
Admission and a catalogue are completely free, and there will be ample refreshments and parking, and toilet facilities.
The pictures on display are all available to purchase with prices from £10 to several hundred, of all styles, which can be collected or delivered after 7pm on the last day.
