Norfolk minister publishes mouse musings book
2011: A retired Salvation Army minister from Norfolk has written a unique book under the guise of Dr Marcus AnonyMOUSE which includes hilarous 'tails' of life touching on everyday subjects as well as theological ideas.
This is a real Norfolk book written by a real Norfolk mouse!
Dr. Marcus AnonyMOUSE, a Fellow of Mousechester University with a PhD into the lives of anonymous famous people, was actually born in a Norfolk barn.
In his latest book, Mouse Musings into Life, God and Worksop, he suggests that the musings of an average mouse should be taken seriously. After all, did Walt Disney ever take the ‘mickey’ out of his mouse?
Dr. AnonyMouse studied theology for five years and became a Fellow in 2010. Most of his practical thinking on communicating the gospel took place at Mousechester Corn Exchange, where he enjoyed a two-year sabbatical.
His book is hilariously funny in places, but is also unique and different. He tackles everyday subjects - like temptation in an Aylsham Road chip shop, water, crumbs, pills and ills, and courtesy – before going on to the Resurrection, the Trinity, and the Second Coming.
There are 81 musings over 112 pages, so get down to ground-zero level and take in life through the eyes of Marcus AnonyMOUSE, who speaks through Major Alistair Dawson [pictured above], a retired Salvation Army minister living in Norwich.
This book is more than a ‘mouse-full.’ It’s an education!
The foreword is by the Editor of The War Cry, Major Nigel Bovey.
All money raised from the book will go to The Salvation Army.
An ideal Christmas gift
