A resource recommendation for Lent

Are you looking for something to inspire you over the forthcoming Lent season? The booklet “Keep Blessing your Community”, compiled by Jill Gower – Director of Call to Prayer has been recommended as a good resource.

The booklet is an inspirational 40-day guide to help change the spiritual atmosphere of your village, town or city. Each day has a simple, easy to follow layout, with a proclamation, a declaration, a prayer and a blessing, all based on a passage of scripture.

Testimonies from current users include: “I have found it an invaluable resource here in East Norfolk, and we have seen clear results from our regular use of this material. God is using it and is bringing the blessings of his Kingdom in here”.

“Wonderful booklet. We’ve been using it when praying round the village and so much has been happening since. I thoroughly recommend it.”

A great tool as an aid to prayer. We’ve used it in Great Yarmouth and our prayer for the town has gone up a level. We’ve seen greater unity amongst us in prayer.”

To order copies at £3 each + postage, please email admin@call2prayer.co.uk. The booklets will be sent to the address specified with an invoice enclosed giving details of how to pay by BACS or cheque. A discount applies for orders of 30 or more copies.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
