Norfolk author's new book urges church to be ready

Norfolk evangelist, author and businessman John Wright, has published a free downloadable e-book that seeks to stir Christians up to watch and pray and be ready for Jesus’ second coming.

John Wright is a Reader for the Diocese of Norwich, a member of the College of Evangelists and an International Director of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship.  He is also a prolific author and has written a new book, published under his enterprise Branch Press, entitled Signs of the End Times: Bible Prophesies about the end of the world.
The short book is a challenging read that compares current events, as recent as the Grenfell Tower tragedy, to Biblical prophecies about Jesus’ second coming and asserts that the end times could be upon us.

John describes the book as ‘my latest attempt to stir Christians to have oil in their lamp’ referring to Jesus’ parable about The Wise and Foolish Virgins which he explores further in the book.
In the book’s conclusion John says: “I hope that this will help us all to watch and pray; to be repentant and attentive to the Holy Spirit; to speak out fearlessly about the love of God that draws us to heaven and the judgement of God that sends us to hell; and to wake people up to the need to choose their destiny – the climax of their lives and of history.”
International speaker Rev Dr Alistair Petrie commends the book saying: “It appears that God is challenging His people to “wake up” through the events of this day and age. So Signs of the End Times will serve as an immensely strategic tool in enabling us to find answers to searching questions. I encourage you to read these pages carefully, while studying the Bible and daily newspapers. Be prepared to have your eyes opened and your faith deepened.”

John is offering his latest book free a downloadable e-book here.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
