Christian song-writers to perform in Stalham

Noel and Tricia Richards 400AT2017: Noel and Tricia Richards, well known writers of contemporary Christian hymns and Songs, are giving a concert at Stalham Baptist Church on Saturday December 2.

The concert is called “An Evening with Noel & Tricia Richards”, and will feature conversation in an intimate acoustic setting, including some new songs as well as their classics, such as “All Heaven Declares”, “By Your side” and “You laid aside Your Majesty”.
Noel and Tricia’s songs have been much-loved since the mid-1980s, and many have found their way into regular use in churches across the UK and beyond. They headlined a concert at Wembley Stadium in 1997 that was attended by 45,000 people. Seventeen of their songs feature in the UK Top 500 of the Church Copyright listing.
Diana Gordon, a deacon at Stalham Baptist Church, says, “I have been exchanging emails with Noel and Tricia for 18 months. They have been based in Mallorca for the last seven years, but I managed to secure a date during their UK tour this year. I'm really excited about the event. Ours will be one of only be three dates in East Anglia this year.”
Ron Skivington, Church Pastor, said, “We believe this concert will prove popular and will help raise money for the planned refurbishment of our “School Room” which we envisage will serve both church and our local community's needs for the next fifty years.”
Entry to the concert is free, but by pre-ordered ticket only. Donations towards the church building fund will be accepted on the night. Tickets can be ordered by emailing: concert@stalhambaptist.org.uk
The concert will start at 7.30pm, and the doors will open at 7:00pm. Interval refreshments will be available.  Stalham Baptist Church is at the High Street, Stalham, Norfolk, NR12 9AZ.
