NYFC needs a Tracks Youth Worker 

Norwich Youth for Christ has an exciting opportunity for someone to join their Tracks project as a Youth Worker, responsible for the development and delivery of music projects using its Mobile Recording Studio.

Norwich Youth for Christ has an exciting opportunity for someone to join its Tracks project. The right candidate will have a passion for working with young people in music, joining its forward-thinking team of youth workers who are dedicated to providing young people with opportunities to hear the good news of Jesus in exciting, innovative ways.
 
The team member will be responsible for the development and delivery of music projects using the Mobile Recording Studio. They will be well organised and will be used to using their initiative, have high levels of drive and determination.

You will have excellent communication skills in both formal and informal settings, work well as part of a team and able to work both with groups of young people and individuals. Some of the work will involve our Alternative Education programme Boost and therefore with young people who struggle with their attention span.
 
You will be proficient on at least one musical instrument and have experience in developing young musicians. You should also have some technical skills in PA and recording.

There is a genuine occupational requirement that the postholder is a Christian. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful applicant.
