Green pastures Christian bookshop is open again

Green Pastures Christian Bookshop in Dereham is now open and selling books, cards and DVDs from 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday.

The shop at 20 Norwich Street, Dereham has full Covid safety measures in place. To mark the reopening, a special 10% discount will be applied to all Bibles sold during April.
Lance Birks, Chair of Trustees, writes: “Several additions to the services we offer to customers have been made during lockdown which will benefit visitors to the shop as well as those who prefer to contact us by phone, email or online.
"We have become an Affiliate with the www.Bookshop.org initiative for independent booksellers which earns us commission when customers go to that site and select Green Pastures (Dereham) as their chosen bookshop. Orders can then be placed from a huge selection of books with delivery to their preferred address.
We are also now able to sell and redeem National Book Tokens.”
While on flexi-furlough during the latest lockdown, Managers Irene Humphrey and Helen Cockburn, have worked hard to service enquiries and orders, including significant book deliveries to libraries in ten Norfolk schools through the Speaking Volumes scheme.
As well as looking forward to providing a full shop-based service again, Green Pastures will continue to welcome orders over the phone (01362 697953) and by email (shop@greenpasturesdereham.org.uk) with free delivery within a ten-mile radius of Dereham. Our new online-commerce site will be launched soon: look out for an announcement about that.
