North Elmham church pilots community larder
St Mary’s Church in North Elmham is running a Community Larder until Monday April 12, which can be accessed by anyone who needs it.
The larder started on Monday March 1 as a short-term project for Lent, but if the Larder proves to be needed by the community it will keep going.
St Mary's is part of the Heart of Norfolk benefice, whose Facebook page says “In these challenging times, so many of us are struggling in different ways. For some, it has been difficult to afford the food or other basics we need. That’s where the Community Larder comes in – it is for anyone who needs it.”
Donations of non-perishable foods and other household items are invited. Covid-secure arrangements are in place. For more information, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
St Mary’s is on Holt Road, North Elmham, NR20 5JU.
The Heart of Norfolk Benefice is part of the Sparham Deanery in the Diocese of Norwich, and includes the villages of Bawdeswell, Billingford, Bintree, Foulsham, Foxley, Guestwick, Guist, North Elmham, Stibbard, Themelthorpe, Twyford, Wood Norton, and Worthing.
