Snap Norwich Passion Play to win £100

Capture a great moment from the Norwich Passion Play on your digital camera or mobile phone and you could win up to £100 in a competition sponsored by the Passion Trust.

Passion Plays are taking place across the country, many sponsored by the Passion Trust, and one of the largest will be the Norwich Passion Play on Saturday April 16, at 11am and 3pm starting at Hay Hill. It will move between several locations with both professional actors from Saltmine Theatre Company and a community cast from Norwich churches.

Organiser Keith Morris, from Celebrate Norfolk, said: “Everyone is welcome to attend the Norwich play and we would love you to bring you camera or mobile phone along and take as many pictures as you like. We would encourage you to enter them into this competition but also to share them on your social media channels so that as many people as possible can share in the dramatic occasion.”

The Passion Trust competition is offering the chance to win up to £100 and cash prizes for second and third places. A maximum of five photos are allowed per person. Only original photos will be accepted.

The competition is open to anyone aged 10 or over, although if you are under the age of 16, please ask your parent or guardian to enter the competition on your behalf.

All photos must feature either scenes or characters from a UK Passion Play. Entries will be judged on photo composition, content, and technical skill of the photographer.

All entries accept that submitted photos may be used at the Passion Trust’s description in promotion and advertising Passion Plays across the UK.

Send your photos to photos@passiontrust.org or send a link to where they have been posted. Be sure to include your name, age and contact number in the email as well as which Passion Play was photographed.

Closing date for entries in May 1, 2022.
